Audience support was yesterday - the applause lingers today

Manjula Viswanath, the founder and artistic director of Rasika Dance Academy in Sydney, Australia has the vision of making Indian classical dance more accessible to mainstream audiences in Australia.

She began her early training at the tender age of 5 with the inimitable & amazing Guru Padmini Ravi of Bangalore, India. At this age the mesmerising visuals of Bharathanatyam was so enticing that her mind was encapsulated and the seeds of dance passion were sown. The paroxysm of emotions soaked her into a inherent sense and a world of dreams. This vehemence has led to to a duty that today encompasses dedication, respect & responsibility towards Bharathanatyam.
